Celebrate the season in Downtown Johnson City as Candyland Christmas transforms the heart of downtown into a holiday wonderland from November 29, 2025, through January 4, 2026. The celebration kicks off at the Grand Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 29, at 6:30 p.m. on Commerce Street in front of the Johnson City Landmark Sign.

 

Wander through more than 180 decorated Christmas trees, each created by local businesses, organizations, and community groups.

From King Commons and Founders Park to Main Street, downtown becomes a walkable showcase of lights, creativity, and holiday cheer. It’s the perfect time to bundle up, grab a warm drink from a local spot, and take in all the festive spirit that makes Downtown JC shine this time of year.
